My girl has joined to a new school last semester as year 5. And for that short period of time she managed to put herself into the school rounders team. She has been playing the school matches vs other's school and won twice in a row until we watched it at one time and they've lost. Can't believed it, that our presence made them a loser. We can see that she was all nervous and wanting to excel for mummy and daddy's eyes. But what she didn't know is, she already excelled to us and that we will be always proud of her no matter what. Joining any activities in the first place is already an achievement. That only means that she is confident and sporty.

Oh, this is her and obviously trying out for a home run. To be fair, they didn't get to practise beforehand. So, they were panicking and were all over the place. No teamwork this time and few bad techniques that caused them a matched. But, there is always next time. After all, the score standing were 2 wins and 1 lost. Not bad, right? But, it is only their summer activities though so this term it will be another sports she is going to join in. Will tell you about it later...

Here is it when the matched was still on. It's Daddy who captured all these... |
 |
This is their school ground and thought they would win because it's a familiar place but, nope. |
 |
that's my girl, working hard and made Mummy and Daddy so proud. |
 |
We can tell how much they wanted to win after seeing all their disappointed faces but the food made them all better, haha. As a host, they have to prepare lunch for everyone and mixed in the table with the opponent team from other school. So, here they are trying to be a good host:) |

It her turn. It's basically a girl's sports originated in Britain and later named Baseball by John Newberry and introduced it to America. The history can be found in here

It's really good to be involved in sports event like this. Unfortunately, I'm not into sports so I never had the chance when I was in high school or even in the elementary.
By the way, I followed you thru GFC. Hoping you can follow me here: http://www.lonerzone.com/

In my own experience, I feel more pressured when my parents or relatives are there to watch me in contests or shows that I join. I am more confident when they are not there. But to others, it's the other way around. With the case of your daughter, it's okay to lose sometimes. What's important is that she has shown that she did her part very well. But for us, mothers, it's somehow painful to see your child suffering from defeat but it's okay, we just have to encourage them more.
awwwww...I'll be proud too...am sure there's always next time...win or lose...they're already winners!
Wow she is surely a great athlete...Remember those days I am like that hehehe.
Its really a good thing to get our kids hooked up into sports. Like what we are doing with our daughter, we encourage her to be sporty and refrain from watching too much cartoons :D
wow, my first time to hear a game like this. must be fun and hope she will be an athlete on this someday.

winner or lost, what's good is that the children can learn to be kids and that's being friendly no matter what.
My 2 year old will be going to school some time next year and I am hoping he will be doing good there.
You have an athlete in the making there Haze :)
